An Internship program was introduced in our School in the academic year 2015-2016. The supervisor of the Internship for our School is Mr. Thodoris Papadimitriou, assistant Professor.
The Internship is a free choice course, which corresponds to 5 ECTS, and it is not calculated in the total of ECTS required to obtain the degree. It lasts for 2 months (March-April or June-July) and it is a full-time occupation (five or eight hours daily).
To participate in the internship program the students at the School must be at least in the 7th semester of study, and they must have completed 120 ECTS out of the 300 required to obtain a degree. Priority is given to the students of higher semesters, so that they have the possibility to complete an internship, before they graduate.
Each student can participate in the internship program only once during his/her studies
For students in the same semester of studies, the total number of ECTS is taken into consideration. In case of a tie, the average grade is taken into account. Students who qualify for an internship, may not participate in the program, if no host Institution of their interest is found.
The program is funded by the European Social Fund (ECB) and co-financed by National Resources through the Operational Program “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation” of the Partnership Agreement for the Development Framework 2014-2020, with an Intermediate Agency for the “Human Resources, Education and Lifelong Learning”.
