The teacher holds a doctoral degree from the Department of History of the Ionian University, specializing in the scientific field, Cinema and History. He has published articles in scientific journals (Μνήμων, (Τα) Ιστορικά, Αρχειοτάξιο), as well as in the reputable electronic journal, Filmicon, and has made contributions to conferences, such as, for example, the 1st International Conference on Greek Cinema: The Unknown Greek Cinema: New Cartographies, New Protagonists, New Discoveries of The Past (1945-1967), Aristotle University Film Department, 28-29 May 2015 entitled: ‘Ο ∆ιονύσης Μήλας και η ιστορική µαρτυρία µιας (έως πρόσφατα λανθάνουσας) νεορεαλιστικής ταινίας’ and the 3rd Conference of The Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences of Athens , on ” Dimensions of the Greek Civil War 1946-1949″, Athens, 7-12 December 2016, entitled: ‘Η όψιμος σπορά και τα ειρηνικά έργα: η πολιτική κρίση, η κρίση της πολιτικής και η ρητορική των «εθνικών δικαίων» στις δημοφιλείς θεατρικές κωμωδίες του Εμφυλίου’. He taught for two academic years (2015 – 2017) courses on the relationship between History and Film in the Film Department of the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
