Short CV

BA in Political Science, at The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens; MFA in Cinematography at the Center for Advanced Film & TV Studies of the American Film Institute, on a Fulbright-scholarship. Director of photography on various fiction & documentary features and shorts, tv-series, commercials and music-videos. Founding member of the Creek Society of Cinematographers (GSC). Member: A.F.I. Alumni Association, Association of Fulbright Scholars, Greek Alumni of American Universities.


Recent collaborations as director of photography include, the features Canteen, Heart of the beast, Small revolts, Ithikon akmaiotaton; the shorts Offered boy, Marionette, Happy life, Dry cleaning, One moment please, Against the wall, Fleury, The attic, Handset type, Alina Hatson; the feature documentaries Alive at Kyttaro, Play it again Christos, Altamoura, Nico Koyndoyros-Odysseys, Katerina Gogou-reinstating the dark. As director/cameraman the shorts 07.01.2011-the last rehearsal, Cello-lesson, the documentary TV series Greece and climate change, the documentary feature Aphrodite's child.

Selected at various film festivals in Greece such as Thessaloniki International Film festival, Drama International Film festival, Greek Documentary Festival-Docfest Chalkida, as well as numerous international participations in: Cannes Film Festival (2003, official competition), Zinebi - International Festival of Documentary and Short Film of Bilbao, Ismailia, Tehran International film festival, Fajr International film festival , Alpe Adria Cinema, 9th Huston Film Festival, Pragues’ MOFFOM-international festival of music films, Montreal World Film Festival, Festival International du Film sur l'art (FIFA), Montpellier International Festival of Mediterranean Film (Cinemed), among others.
