Dimitris Goulis

Laboratory Teaching Staff

Born and raised in Thessaloniki. He worked as a teacher from 1990 until 2017. He was the Principal at the 67th Primary School of Thessaloniki (2011-2017). He has written dictionaries, books on children's literature and for creative writing. He also involved in the writing group of books for teaching Greek language in the Greek minority in Albania. He taught courses on children's literature and cinema in education in the Department of Education and the Department of Early Childhood Education in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has participated in conferences with announcements related issues teaching of language, literature, teaching the Holocaust (in Israel, France and Poland) & teaching cinema in education. In October 2015, he was named Knight of the Order of Academic Palms by the French Republic (Chevalier de l’ Ordre des Palmes Académiques) for his contribution to the promotion of the French language & culture and the commitment of teaching the Holocaust. Today (2017) he teaches as a Laboratory Teaching Staff at the School of Film, Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and he is working on his Post-PhD research about teaching local History and Holocaust through School's Archives.
