Konstantinos Kafetsios (Ph.D. Lancaster University) is a Professor in Social Clinical Psychology. Previously he has held academic positions in Greece (University of Crete) and the UK (University of Cambridge, Anglia Ruskin University). Research interests revolve around examining emotion in interpersonal and social interaction, in hierarchical relationships at work, and in social relationships across cultures. For this research he has received funding from National (General Secretariat for Research, Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation, IKY) and international sources (FP7, H2020, EEA Grants, DAAD). He is first author or co-author in numerous publications in international peer-refereed journals and currently serves as an Associate Editor for the European Journal of Social Psychology, Frontiers in Psychology and as Consulting editor for key journals of the field (Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Journal of Social and Personal Relationships, Personal Relationships and the Hellenic Journal of Psychology). He has served as a reviewer for numerous international peer refereed journals, and several international Grant funding agencies in Canada, The Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, Israel, Norway, Switzerland, Poland, Greece, Cyprus and the European Commission. He is a full member of the International Society of Research on Emotion, European Association of Social Psychology and the International Association for Relationship Research.
