Screening of the movie “Amsterdam stories USA” in the presence of director Rob Rombout

Posted on 5 January 202023 March 2021

On Monday, January 13, 2020, at 16:00 in the Screening Hall of the School of Film, as part of the collaboration of the School of Film and the workshop that will take place in Kalamata Documentary Festival under the supervision of the distinguished Dutch documentary director and professor Rob Rombout, an open event will take place, in which Mr. Rombout will participate by teleconference.

One of the four films that make up the 2012 film “Amsterdam stories USA”, co-directed by Rogier van Eck and Rob Rombout, will be screened. It is a calendar documentary in which the two directors travel across the United States with stops at 15 points on the map that all bear the place name “Amsterdam”. Through the landscapes, encounters and stories unfolding on the street, the film gradually weaves a unique image of rural and unknown America.
